Student welfare at Mountlands
At Mountlands we pride ourselves on our high quality of pastoral care.
Our designated safeguarding officers are trained to level 3 Safeguarding & PREVENT and ensure all of our staff know how to deal with a range of situations, to ensure the safety and well being of all students.
Moreover, our company ethos promotes caring as one of its top values – whether a student is feeling homesick or is being bullied, a staff member is always around to help and the team are always proactive in doing so!
For all groups, we offer a 24 hour number that does exactly what it says on the tin – it’s available all day long for any out of hours emergencies or issues
Every student also receives a student guide which includes a map, all necessary town information and a place to write their accommodation details – our homestays know to make sure contact details are exchanged on the first day.
